On July 8th 2022, poet and researcher Joanna Nissel devised and ran a creatively facilitated workshop at the Ledbury Poetry Festival. The poetry collage session brought together festival volunteers to understand the relationship between volunteering and pride in place, what it meant to be recognised by others, and the feelings towards Ledbury’s high street, which had featured as one of the best places in the world for Christmas shopping.
