KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE

Neighbouring Data brought together academics, local authority officers, government policymakers and community organisers from across the UK to discuss the role of qualitative data in policy and decision-making.

This event presented our emerging findings and opened up a conversation on how decision makers use, visualise, narrate and maintain qualitative data.

We were specifically interested in developing a set of principles for using qualitative data that assists with place-based decision making. These principles were revised, modelled and trialled using the insights we gained from this workshop.
